Michael Mattingly

Attorney at Thomas J. Henry Law's San Antonio Office

Mr. Michael Mattingly earned his Juris Doctor from St. Mary’s University School of Law. He also holds a Bachelor of the Arts in Government from The University of Texas at Austin.

While in law school, Mr. Mattingly worked as a research assistant for the late Professor Schmolesky, reviewing and interpreting Texas Supreme Court cases, appellate cases, and state regulations. He also summarized and prepared memoranda used by practicing attorneys.

Mr. Mattingly is highly experienced in Child Protective Services (CPS) cases and has provided counsel and emotional support for children who were often survivors of severe abuse and neglect. His sympathy for families and passion for client advocacy is shown through his daily endeavors to meet high expectations.

When not in his office, Mr. Mattingly loves visiting Texas’s hill county and its many state parks as well as other interesting places around the world.
