Michelle M. Villagómez

Ms. Michelle M. Villagómez earned her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Texas Southern University Thurgood Marshall School of Law and holds a Bachelor of Science from University of Houston.
During law school, Ms. Villagómez worked alongside her attorney professor in the Juvenile Lifers externship program and assisted in drafting appellate briefs. She also assisted in conducting witness interviews and hearing preparation. Prior to joining Thomas J. Henry Law, Ms. Villagómez focused on labor and employment law. In this role, Ms. Villagómez conducted hearings, reviewed evidence, and drafted decisions using the applicable statutes and codes.
Ms. Villagómez is a first-generation college student. She wanted to become an attorney to strive for a better future and create a legacy for her family. She also wanted to pursue a career that would allow her to help others open doors, create opportunities, and break down barriers.
Ms. Villagómez is extremely dedicated to her work and determined to excel in any endeavor she undertakes. She is confident that she can overcome any obstacle and obtain the best possible outcome for her clients. As a young attorney, Ms. Villagómez is ready to be molded and mentored into the greatest possible attorney. She hopes she can in turn mentor future attorneys who follow behind her.
In her free time, Ms. Villagómez enjoys spending time with her loved ones by the pool, bowling, trying new foods, cooking, and caring for her cats and pet turtle. She also enjoys cheering for the Astros.
