Randall C. Huntsinger

Mr. Randall C. Huntsinger is an accomplished litigator with over twenty years of experience in both government and private practice.  At Thomas J. Henry Law, Mr. Huntsinger serves as a senior litigation attorney responsible for complex personal injury cases.

Mr. Huntsinger has a proven history of managing immense caseloads in fast-paced environments while producing first-rate results.   This history includes managing a high-volume civil litigation practice with an active docket in excess of 90+ cases.  Mr. Huntsinger has litigated 36 federal and state court trials with a win rate exceeding 90%.  Additionally, Mr. Huntsinger’s appellate record includes two published state court opinions.  Mr. Huntsinger’s passion for litigation is matched only by his devotion to work that helps the disadvantaged or those who find themselves the victims of tragedy through no fault of their own.

Mr. Huntsinger’s legal career has covered the gamut.  He began in civil rights litigation where Mr. Huntsinger participated as lead or second-chair counsel in dozens of cases in state and federal jurisdictions across Texas as an Assistant Attorney General.   He later served as a jurisdictional case manager in toxic-tort product liability suits in several Texas counties for a private Dallas firm before returning to Austin to start his own practice.  As a solo attorney for over a decade, Mr. Huntsinger took great pleasure in helping individuals and small businesses, people to whom securing legal services did not come easily.

Mr. Huntsinger earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from The University of Houston Law Center.  Recognized for his outstanding talent for advocacy, Mr. Huntsinger was a Newell Blakely Moot Court Semi-Finalist at Houston Law.  Prior to attending law school, Mr. Huntsinger earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree in Accounting from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and was employed as a financial auditor in San Antonio.

Mr. Huntsinger believes in a team-focused approach to client services.   As the former CEO of a mid-sized service company in Austin, Texas, Mr. Huntsinger’s seven years leading that company taught him that regardless of the service, happy clients are the product of great team work.  Mr. Huntsinger is proud of the holistic approach championed at Thomas J. Henry Law in which the client is the responsibility of every member of the team.

Mr. Huntsinger is a member of the State Bar of Texas.  He is admitted before the United States District Courts for the Eastern, Western, Northern, and Southern Districts of Texas, as well as the United States District Courts for the State of Colorado and before the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in New Orleans.
