Renee L. Lapaglia

Ms. Renee L. Lapaglia received her Doctor of Jurisprudence from Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from Texas State University in San Marcos, Texas.
Ms. Lapaglia grew up in New Braunfels, Texas, but has lived for the past 15 years in Austin. During and after law school, Ms. Lapaglia worked at a number of law offices in Texas, gaining a wide range of experience in the courtroom as a law clerk, paralegal, prosecutor, and associate attorney.
As a law clerk and paralegal, Ms. Lapaglia showed her proficiency in drafting discoveries, contracts, and any pleadings for real estate, business, criminal, estate planning, and family law cases. As a prosecutor, she worked in both the misdemeanor division and the civil division, preparing cases for trial and routinely interacting with caseworkers, CPS supervisors, agency clients, and other clients and professionals.
Ms. Lapaglia also excelled as an associate attorney with duties including conducting initial client consultations, preparing and reviewing all litigation documents and pleadings, and preparing witnesses for trial and mediation.
Outside the office, Ms. Lapaglia loves walking trails with her three dogs. She is passionate about animals and has won a dog bite trial that saved a dog’s life.
