Steven Nguyen

Attorney at Thomas J. Henry Law's San Antonio Office

Mr. Steven Nguyen received his Doctor of Jurisprudence at St. Mary’s University School of Law. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Texas Tech University.

During law school, Mr. Nguyen completed an internship at the Department of Homeland Security’s Immigration and Customs Enforcement department where  prepared and drafted motions, took notes for case files, and organized evidence and country packets. He also interned with the Department of Justice’s  Executive Office for Immigration Review, drafting written decisions for immigration judges, transcribing hearings, observing court proceedings, and researching immigration and criminal legal topics for memoranda.

His internship prepared him with research and organizing proficiency he continued to use later during his work as an associate attorney for two San Antonio-based offices. These offices trained him to handle family law and multiple areas of civil litigation.

Mr. Nguyen has also worked as an assistant attorney general in the Child Support Division of the Office of Attorney General, where he reviewed and approved pleadings for child support and communicated with customers to draft orders.

Mr. Nguyen is fluent in English and Vietnamese. His training and determined spirit make him a successful attorney.
