Timothy Powell Herron

Mr. Timothy Powell Herron is a trial attorney with more than 40 years of experience in Civil Law. Over the course of his career, he has litigated cases involving Insurance, Personal Injury, Mass Tort, Toxic Tort, and Commercial Litigation.

Mr. Herron earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from Baylor Law School and also holds a Master’s Degree in Communication Studies from Texas Christian University. Prior to attending law school, Mr. Herron was a professor and coach of debate at the intercollegiate level. During law school, Mr. Herron was selected for the Baylor University Moot Court National team and State team. He was recognized as an Outstanding Advocate and won the George Spiegelburg Award at the National Mock Trial competition for the American College of Trial Lawyers.

Mr. Herron is team-oriented and is conscientious of his colleagues and client. When it comes to opposing counsel, he prides himself on being aggressive without being abrasive. Despite his years in the legal industry, Mr. Herron still finds the practice of law challenging, exhilarating, and humbling. His top focus remains advocating on behalf of his clients so they are able to focus on their physical recovery and health.

In addition to his work as an attorney, Mr. Herron has taught at a number of Continuing Legal Education seminars in the areas of insurance and arson investigation and has made presentations before various firefighting agencies and arson investigators. He is the proud father of six children, all of whom have or will shortly graduate college, and he has six grandchildren. He is committed to his church and enjoys participating in church activities, having taught adult Bible Study and serving as a Deacon.
