Tina Hartmann

Attorney at Thomas J. Henry Law's San Antonio Office

Ms. Tina Hartmann is an experienced trial attorney with an unwavering dedication to her clients.

As a prosecutor, Ms. Hartmann spent over a decade fighting for justice for victims of various crimes. She combatted organized crime and public corruption while assigned to the Border Prosecution Unit and led the Human Trafficking Initiative and Stop Task Force to rescue victims and protect communities.

While serving as Chief Deputy for the Office of General Counsel at the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, Ms. Hartmann supervised the legal offices in both Austin and Huntsville and advised agency leadership on legal issues. During this time, she assisted in resolving Roppolo, et. al. v. Linthicum, et. al., No. 2:19-CV-00262, a class action lawsuit filed in the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Texas, Corpus Christi Division by TDCJ inmates diagnosed with chronic Hepatitis C.

Ms. Hartmann has also worked as an in-house civil defense attorney for an international l insurance carrier. As such, she has a unique understanding of how defense firms and insurance companies evaluate and fight claims.

After helping victims get justice as a prosecutor, Ms. Hartmann naturally moved to personal injury law with the goal of helping injured people fight for the compensation they deserve.

Born in San Antonio, Texas, Ms. Hartmann and her family have always felt rooted in South Texas. With a father in the United States Air Force, Ms. Hartmann and her family often moved, but always found their way back to the San Antonio area.

Outside of her work as an attorney, Ms. Hartmann is happily married with two children. Her family has a cattle ranching operation, and Ms. Hartmann is a member of the Floresville ISD Education Foundation which raises money to help support our teachers and students.  She participates in 4-H with her children as they learn community service, responsibility, and leadership, and she also coaches youth soccer.
