Zhayna Yarber

Ms. Zhayna Yarber is a native of New Iberia, Louisiana. Ms. Yarber graduated from Xavier University of Louisiana in New Orleans, Louisiana with a Bachelor’s of Science in Biology. She earned her Juris Doctor degree from Southern University Law Center in Baton Rouge, Louisiana where she finished in the Top 7% of her class.

In law school, Ms. Yarber interned at the 19^th Judicial District Court where she drafted Post-Conviction Relief Recommendations. Also, she participated in the Technology and Entrepreneurship Clinic as a Student Attorney who helped small business owners with transactional legal services. In her last year of law school, she served as a 3L Class Representative as part of the Student Bar Association and participated in the Thurgood Marshall College Fund 2020 Leadership Institute.

Ms. Yarber is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She enjoys traveling, trying new restaurants, working out, and spending time with family and friends in her spare time.
