Authorities Respond to Houston School Bus Crash

Authorities are investigating a school bus crash in south Houston that left at least two people hospitalized Friday morning.

About the Houston Bus Accident

According to the Houston Chronicle, the crash occurred on Tierwester Street near Mainer around 7 am.

22 students between the ages of 5 and 13 were on the school bus was struck by a sedan. The bus driver and the driver of the car were both transported to the hospital.

Authorities are still trying to determine what led to the collision, but photos from the scene shows that the car had crashed into the school bus, becoming wedged underneath it.

No citations have been reported.
