A pedestrian was killed in an accident that happened on Monday in Baltimore City.

Details about the Fatal Pedestrian Accident

WBALTV News is reporting that one man was killed in a pedestrian accident that happened on Monday morning in Baltimore City.

At this time, police have stated that a 53-year-old man was hit by a vehicle along the 4000 block of East monument Street at about 5:42 a.m. He was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, but his identity has not been released at this time, pending notification of next of kin.

The driver of the vehicle that killed the man remained at the scene and did not appear to have been intoxicated at the time of the accident.

There is no word on what caused the accident, but the incident remains to be under investigation by the authorities at this time.
