Beeville Man Arrested for Running Over 3 Women

KRIS-TV reports that authorities have arrested a motorist following a fatal pedestrian accident in Beeville, Texas.

About the Beeville Hit-and-Run

A 26-year-old man, Pablo Garnica Jr., is being accused of deliberately running over three women with his vehicle. Two of the women were killed in the process and a third woman was injured.

The man was leaving a party outside of a house in Beeville when the incident happened. According to the Beeville Police, there were around 50 people attending a party at the time. The driver is currently being detained at the Beeville County jail.

He is being charged with capital murder and two counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.

  • Authorities claim the incident occurred on August 22, 2015 at approximately 3 a.m. in the 1700th block of Garfield Street in Beeville, TX
  • The man was driving a pickup truck.
  • His bail is set at more than $2 million, according to the authorities.
  • The third woman was released from the hospital on Saturday afternoon with non-life-threatening injuries
