A bicyclist was injured in an accident that happened in San Antonio.

Details about the Bicycle Accident

News 4 San Antonio is reporting that a bicyclist was sent to the hospital after crashing through the back window of a motor vehicle.

According to the San Antonio Police Department, the accident happened at about 10 p.m. on Thursday evening on South Alamo Street near St. Mary’s Street.

Investigators have stated that the bicyclist was riding the bicycle behind the vehicle that was searching for a place to park. When the vehicle finally made a complete stop to begin parking, the bicyclist did not have enough time to stop and hit the back window of the car.

The rider of the bicycle was taken to the hospital to be treated for his injuries which included facial lacerations and a broken arm but is expected to be okay.

The driver of the vehicle will not be facing any charges.
