1 Dead in Concord Construction Accident

Officials in Concord, New Hampshire have launched an investigation into a construction accident that left a Pittsfield man dead Thursday afternoon.

Details of the Fatal Construction Accident

WMUR reports that 45-year-old Brian Sullivan was struck by a piece of construction equipment while working on a driveway in Concord. He was rushed to an area hospital where he later died.

Reports indicate Sullivan was working for William Young Excavating Site Work at the time of the accident.

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration was notified of the accident and responded to the scene to begin an investigation. No further details were released.

  • 4,821 people were killed in on the job accidents in 2014. This averages to about 13 deaths per day.
