According to ABC 9 News, the fatal crash occurred Tuesday around 8:30 am near mile marker 239. Early reports indicate the van struck a sedan, went into the median, and rolled at least once before coming to a rest.
One man was ejected from the shuttle van and was pronounced dead at the scene. Five other people from the van were taken to the hospital with minor to moderate injuries.
The driver of the sedan was not injured.
One of the northbound lanes was closed as a result of the crash, and the incident remains under investigation.
