More than a dozen people were sent the hospital after a Kansas City bus crashed into a car at an intersection on Friday.
According to KCTV 5, the crash occurred at the intersection of E. 25th and Charlotte Street at around 11:30 am. Early reports indicate the bus broadsided a Ford Fusion, though it is unclear who had the right of way.
At least 11 ambulances were ordered to the scene, and 14 people were sent to the hospital.
Among those in the Fusion were a 2-year-old and a woman; fortunately, neither was believed to be injured in the collision.
At least one person, a 50-year-old man, was seriously injured and was rushed into surgery around 12:30 pm.
