A mid-morning school bus crash along a busy Broward County roadway sent 18 people to the hospital with minor injuries Friday morning.
According to ABC Miami, a total of 14 kids onboard the school bus were transported to area hospitals. 10 of them were transported to Broward General Medical Center and four others were transported to Plantation General Hospital.
Four adults were also hospitalized. According to Florida Highway Patrol, none of the injuries were considered to be serious.
The children were part of a group from a Pembroke Pines church heading to a volunteer project, according to those associated with the group. The bus was operated by World of Kids Transportation.
The families of the students involved were told to contact Florida Highway Patrol for reunification information.
