2 Dead in Central Texas Trucking Accident

Two women were killed Tuesday after an 18-wheeler collided with a car along State Highway 7 in Limestone County, Texas.

Details of the Fatal Trucking Accident

According to KWTX, the crash occurred around 8 pm about four miles east of Kosse. Preliminary reports indicate the 2003 Pontiac the two women were riding in crossed into oncoming traffic and collided head-on with an 18-wheeler.

The driver of the Pontiac, Chrystal Bennet, 32, and her passenger, Malina Bisho, 52, were killed on impact.

The driver of the 18-wheeler, Larry Ditgen, 64, was also injured in the accident and was transported to an area hospital. He is listed in stable condition.

The crash remains under investigation.
