According to KSAT, the crash occurred around State Highway 31 at FM 2311 around 3 a.m. Saturday when a driver ran a stop sign.
Police say a GMC SUV traveling southbound on FM 2311 failed to stop at a stop sign and collided with a Hyundai sedan driven by 55-year-old Belinda Sanabria. Sanabria and her passenger, Matias Sanabria Mendoza, were killed in the crash.
A passenger of the SUV was transported to Baylor Scott & White Hillcrest Medical Center in Waco with an incapacitating injury. The drive of the SUV was taken to Hillcrest with a possible injury.
Texas Department of Public Safety Sergeant Ryan Howard said charges may be filed in the case.
