According to a bulletin from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the seat belt clips in some Pacifica vehicles may break, which could preventing occupants from being properly restrained. The problem affects seat belts for the second-and third row center seats. The recall is limited to 2017 Chrysler Pacifica minivans built between February 22, 2016 and April 28, 2016.
A total of 3,518 vehicles registered in the U.S. are affected. According to Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) there have been no known injuries or reports. Even though there are no known injury reports, this is still a serious problem that could really lead to a lot of complications if the car were to crash.
