CBS Austin reports the bus was carrying about 30 people from Mexico to Tennessee. While driving through Houston the bus collided with a concrete divider.
Three people including the driver were injured and had to be taken to the hospital. It is unclear if other riders were injured.
At the moment the cause of the crash is unknown.
Over 600 people die a year on Houston’s roads while over 2000 are severely injured. Houston is the leader in drug and alcohol-related accidents and takes the number 2 spot for fatal crashes per capita on its federal highways.
