3 Injured in Santa Fe School Bus Crash

A student and two others were transported to the hospital following a collision between a school bus and a SUV in Santa Fe, Texas.

Details of the Santa Fe Bus Crash

According to the Houston Chronicle, the collision occurred on Highway 6 near the Highway 35/Alvin bypass around 6:45 am Wednesday.

Preliminary reports from area authorities state the bus was stopped and picking up children when it was rear-ended by the SUV. The driver of the SUV was taken to University of Texas Medical Branch with serious injuries.

One student and the bus driver were also transported to area hospitals for treatment – their conditions were not immediately available.

Authorities are continuing with investigations into the incident.
