Skip Hop Recalls Convertible High Chairs for Fall Hazard

Skip Hop has issued recalls for 7,900 convertible high chairs after determining they pose a fall hazard to young children.

About the Skip Hop High Chair Recalls

According to the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC), the front legs of the high chairs can detach from the seat, causing the chairs to tip forward and fall. Skip Hop has received 13 reports of high chair legs detaching, resulting in two injury reports.

The recalled high chairs were sold at Babies “R” Us. Buy Buy Baby, Target, Kohls, Dilliards, and other stores nationwide as well as online at Amazon.com and Skiphop.com. Defective unites were sold between December 2016 and September 2017 for about $160.

Parents should stop using the recalled high chairs and contact the manufacturer for a free replacement.
