According to reports, the two-car crash occurred just before 11 pm Tuesday at the intersection of M-59 and Argentine Road.
Police say one of the vehicles was traveling at a high rate of speed along Argentine Road when it ran through a stop sign at M-59 and crashed into a vehicle traveling eastbound on the highway.
Three passengers in the car that was traveling on M-59 were killed in the collision. They have been identified as a 70-year-old man, a 70-year-old woman, and a 36-year-old woman. The driver of the car, a 36-year-old man, was transported to the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor in critical condition.
Two passengers in the cart that ran the stop sign were also kill in the crash. The other two occupants of that vehicle were listed in critical condition.
