67-year-old Woman Struck, Killed by Hit-and-Run Driver

According to KRON4, a 67-year-old woman succumbed to her injuries after being hospitalized following a hit-and-run wreck in Sunnyvale, California, in late October.

Police Still Searching for Driver

Anne Winter rode her bike near Fremont Avenue at approximately 10:28 a.m. when a car crashed into her, throwing her from the bike.

Winter sustained traumatic injuries in the crash and received treatment at Valley Medical Center. According to KRON4, Winter received medical attention for a few weeks before passing away.

Police say the driver that struck Winter never stopped to render aid and drove off after the crash. KRON4 reports that the man drove a white, four-door Acura TSX, and the vehicle likely has damage to the front bumper, hood, and windshield.
