The Texas Department of Public Safety is asking for the public’s help in identifying a hit-and-run driver who fled the scene of a fatal accident near Circuit of the Americas (COTA) on Sunday.
According to KVUE, a male pedestrian was killed Sunday evening when he was struck by a vehicle on FM 812 near Circuit of the Americas Boulevard. Medics responded to the scene around 6:30 pm where CPR was in progress, but the man was later pronounced dead.
The driver involved fled the scene in what authorities identify as a blue or teal colored Ford F-150, possibly a King Ranch Addition, adding that the vehicle will likely have front end and hood damage and will be missing a Ford F-150 King Ranch emblem.
The accident remains under investigation.
