According to the San Antonio Express-News, Joshua Martin Lane, 28, was struck and killed on April 29 as he rode his bicycle along the 13000 block of Interstate 35 North in Live Oak. The driver responsible fled the scene of the accident without calling authorities are emergency crews.
Police now say they have collected evidence that suggests the vehicle involved is a 2016 or 2017 Honda Accord and are asking for the public’s help in finding the vehicle.
According to authorities, the vehicle will likely have damage on the front-passenger side of the bumper and may have damage to the windshield and roof. Crime Stoppers may pay up to $5,000 for information that leads to the identification and arrest of the hit-and-run driver.
Once found, the suspect will face a felony charge of failure to stop and render aid resulting in death.
