One person was killed and three others were injured in a head-on collision in Harrison County.
About the Harrison County Collision
KETK reports that early Saturday morning, an SUV headed north on FM 2208 veered into oncoming traffic and collided with a truck headed southbound.
The driver of the SUV Janice Wilkinson, 62, of Colmesneil, was taken to the hospital and is listed as being in stable condition. The driver of the truck, 19-year-old Cayden Ferrill, was treated at the hospital and later released.
Unfortunately, one of the passengers of Wilkinson’s SUV, Bobby Wilkinson, 64, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The other passenger in the SUV, Sharron Smith, 51, was taken to the hospital and is also in stable condition. All passengers of the vehicles were wearing seatbelts at the time of the incident.
No charges have been brought at this time.
