1 Dead in Fishers Workzone Accident

According to WISHTV.com, a fatal six-vehicle collision occurred near a construction site in Fishers, Indiana on September 8th, 2016. The accident resulted in one death.

Details Of The Six Vehicle Collision

The collision occurred around 4:40 A.M. near 96th Street on Interstate 69.

The officers investigating the scene stated that the collision was at least partly due to a nearby construction zone that was causing traffic to be congested. As a result of the collision, there was a large fuel spill.

Investigating officials state that shortly before the collision, crews at the construction site closed northbound lanes of interstate 69, which led to a separate collision shortly before the six vehicle collision.

The deceased driver has been identified as 23-year-old Jaspreet Darar.
