Alleged Drunk Driver Kills Two Motorcyclists
Two motorcyclists were killed by a drunk driver in an accident in Douglas County.
Details about the Fatal Motorcycle Accident
The accident reportedly happened at about 1:30 p.m. on Highway 83 and Russellville Road.
The alleged drunk driver, 27-year-old Athina Munoz, of Parker, was booked into the Douglas County Jail under charges of vehicular homicide, driving under the influence, reckless driving, and for failing to provide insurance.
The two people on the motorcycle, 58-year-old Brian Lehner and 56-year-old Jacquie Lehner were both ejected from the motorcycle and died at the scene of the accident.
Another vehicle was involved in the accident, and that driver suffered minor injuries.
Neither of the people on the motorcycle were wearing a helmet at the time of the accident.
