Donna Davis and Joe Ledet Killed in Houston Accident

15-year-old Donna Davis and 35-year-old Joe Ledet are dead following an alleged drunk driving crash in Houston early Sunday.

About the Suspected Drunk Driving Accident

“We have independent witnesses that say the vehicle was traveling in excess of 100 miles per hour.” –Sgt. J.R. Roberts of the Houston Police Department as reported by ABC

According to ABC, a suspected drunk driver behind the wheel of a silver Cadillac struck the tan Honda carrying Davis and Ledet from behind along Highway 288 near Airport Road around 2:30 Sunday morning.

Reports indicate that both Davis and Ledet were pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. Two other occupants, Donna Reynard and 3-year-old child was injured Leslie Ledet, were both rushed to Memorial Hermann Hospital.

The driver of the silver Cadillac was taken into custody. He faces two counts of intoxication manslaughter pending test results.
