Jasjit Mundh5 years ago

The Texas Department of Public Safety has released the names of those involved in a fatal collision near Lubbock, Texas that left one person dead and two others hospitalized Tuesday afternoon.

Details of the Lubbock Auto Accident

The Lubbock Avalanche-Journal reports that the chain of collisions began when a Chevrolet pickup driven Roy Neal, 29, rear-ended a Dodge Durango near the intersection of F.M. 1585 and U.S. 62/82.

The Durango was then forced forward, into another Chevrolet pickup that was hauling a flatbed trailer. The impact resulted in the Durango coming to rest on top of the trailer.

Neal is reported to be in stable condition, but his front seat passenger, Jesse Sanchez, 41, was reported dead at the scene. One of Neal’s backseat passengers, 18-year-old Vanessa Alexander, was listed in critical condition following the accident while a second back seat passenger, 37-year-old Brian Bayliss, was listed in stable condition.

The driver of the pickup pulling the trailer, John Scott Drake, 56, was not injured in the collision. Both of the occupants of the Dodge Durango, Christopher Ray Leslie, 35, and Christopher Acker, 18, were treated and released.
