Driver in Pedestrian Accident Was Not Intoxicated
A driver who fatally hit a bicyclist was not intoxicated according to Wilkinsburg police.
Details about the Accident Involving the Bicyclist
The medical examiner’s office identified the victim as 55-year-old Michael McDermott from Wilkinsburg. McDermott died from blunt force trauma to the head, neck, and other extremities, reports WTAE Wilkinsburg.
Homicide detectives from Allegheny County said that the driver hit McDermott at about 6:30 p.m. and did stop to cooperate with authorities.
