A 32-year-old father died in a Madisonville motorcycle crash after a driver made an illegal U-turn.
About the Fatal Accident
WLWT News is reporting that investigators have said Nathan Cotton’s motorcycle crashed at around 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday evening after the driver of a Dodge Charger made an illegal U-turn and cut off the motorcyclist on Madison Road near the intersection of Red Bank Road.
Cotton was taken to University of Cincinnati Medical Center, where he later died of his injuries. He was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, police said.
Cotton’s father-in-law, Carlos Jordan, said he is devastated by Cotton’s death.
“It’s been a hard year for my family. I just buried my daughter last week, now my son-in-law this week. Just back-to-back tragedies. I just don’t know what to do,” Jordan said.
Police have stated that the woman driving the car could face vehicular homicide charges, but so far, she has not been charged.
The motorcycle accident remains under investigation at this time.
