An auto accident in northwest Harris County, Texas has resulted in the death of a 1-year-old child.
About The Fatal Harris County Crash
According to the Houston Chronicle, the fatal car accident in Houston occurred on the 3700 block of West FM 1960 around 8PM on Wednesday night.
A white Ford F-250 truck was traveling westbound on FM 1960 ran a red light colliding with a white Chevrolet Cruze, which was driving northbound on Walters Road. The toddler was riding in the back of the Cruze.
The young girl transported to Memorial Hermann Hospital by a LifeFlight Medical helicopter, but was pronounced dead shortly after – she was not riding in a car seat.
According to Harris County Sheriff deputies, a witness saw the truck pass the light and the driver of the truck admitted to failing to stop at the red light.
Harris County Sheriff’s Department is still investigating this fatal accident.
