Wife of NBA Assistant Coach Dies After Head-On Collision
Wife of Oklahoma City Thunder assistant coach passed away Wednesday evening after injuries she sustained in car accident that happened earlier this week.

Deadspin is reporting that Ingrid Williams, the wife of Thunder assistant coach and former head coach of the Pelicans, Monty Williams, passed away Wednesday evening from injuries she sustained in a car crash that happened on Tuesday.
Williams was 44-years-old, and leaves behind five children between the ages of 5 and 17.
On Tuesday evening, Williams’ SUV was hit head-on by an oncoming car that had veered across the center lane at around 8 p.m. The driver of the car that hit Williams was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident, and Williams was transported to OU Medical Center where she passed away on Wednesday evening.
Both the Pelicans Organization and the Thunder Organization released statements talking about the impact that Williams had on everybody that worked with her and had the opportunity to know her.
