Galveston authorities have arrested motorist following fatal wrong-way collision.
Details of the Galveston Accident
According to reports, Gerado Flores, 34, has been charged with manslaughter after causing a crash that killed a woman along the Galveston Seawall on Thursday night.
Flores was traveling westbound in the eastbound lanes of Seawall Blvd. when the crash occured. The victim was legally parked on the side of the seawall.
Flores veered out of his lane and struck the victims vehicle, causing both cars to be thrown off the seawall.
Galveston police obtained a search warrant for Flores’ blood. The results of this test are pending.

- Another 232,041 people were injured in auto accidents in Texas in 2013 with 89,270 people sustaining a serious injury.
