A motorcyclist was injured in an accident in San Antonio on Thursday.

The accident happened just before 1 a.m. on Loop 410 near Bandera Road on the city’s northwest side.
According to San Antonio Police, the driver of the vehicle who hit the motorcyclist may have been distracted by an ambulance that was passing by with its lights and sirens on at the time of the accident.
The driver of the motorcycle was taken to university Hospital in the Medical Center in serious condition.
An investigation into the circumstances of the accident is ongoing.
