One person is dead and another remains hospitalized following a collision between an 18-wheeler and several motorcycles on Texas 130 north near Lockhart.
Details of the Fatal Lockhart Accident
According to the Austin American-Statesman, the fatal crash occurred Thursday morning at around 10:04 am. Police say the crash involved the 18-wheeler and at least five other vehicles.
The cause of the accident remains under investigation, and it is unclear what initiated the collision.
The northbound lanes of the toll road were completely closed for several hours following the crash but have since been reopened.
