One Killed in Multiple-Motorcycle Accident
One person was killed in an accident involving a motorcycle on Wednesday evening.
Details About the Motorcycle Accident
Police are reporting that the accident happened at about 8:45 p.m. along NC 109 near Murphy Drive, which is in the area near Ledford Senior High School. A sergeant with the North Carolina Highway patrol has indicated that the two motorcycles were heading south on NC 109, when one of the motorcyclists crossed over the center line, hit another vehicle head-on, and was ejected from the motorcycle.
That motorcyclist was killed as a result of their injuries. Although the identity of the deceased motorcyclist has not been released at this time, police have revealed that he was a male.
