One Person Killed in Interstate 43 Rollover
One person was killed in a rollover accident on interstate 43 on Tuesday evening.
Details about the Fatal Accident
TMJ4 News is reporting that a woman from Port Washington was killed on Tuesday evening after her vehicle rolled over on Interstate 43 in Ozaukee County.
The victim has since been identified as 23-year-old Janae Dwyer Lopez, who was a resident of the town of Port Washington. According to police, just before midnight, witnesses say that the victim’s vehicle began to swerve on interstate 43, just north of Falls Road. The vehicle then entered the median and rolled over onto the southbound lanes of the roadway
Investigators working the accident have stated that Lopez was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene of the accident. At this time, alcohol and drugs are not believed to have been factors in the accident, which remains under investigation at this time.
