A pedestrian was fatally injured in Tyler, Texas Tuesday night when he was struck by a motorist on the Old Jacksonville highway.
About the Pedestrian Accident
According to KETK, 36-year-old Daniel Brandon Williams of Tyler, Texas was killed Tuesday evening when he was struck by a vehicle.
Authorities arrived to the scene around 10:40 pm to find Williams unresponsive. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police determined that Williams was standing in the inside lane of northbound Old Jacksonville when the vehicle struck him. They are uncertain what the pedestrian was doing in that area.
The driver of the vehicle waited at the scene for police to arrive. He was not intoxicated and no charges have been filed. The investigation is ongoing.
