San Antonio Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident
A man was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened in San Antonio overnight.
Details about the Fatal Motorcycle Accident
KSAT 12 News is reporting that a man was killed in an overnight motorcycle accident in San Antonio, according to a statement from the San Antonio Police Department on Friday.
Police say the accident happened just after midnight along Loop 410 and Ingram Road, which is on the northwest side of the city. Police further stated that the man was driving his motorcycle heading east but was driving too fast and lost control of the vehicle and hit a retaining wall. The collision with the retaining wall cased the man to be thrown from by bike about 20 feet, landing on Ingram Road below.
The man was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, but he was rushed to University Hospital in critical condition where he later died. An investigation into the accident remains ongoing.
