Suspect in San Antonio Hit-and-Run Accident Found
Police have located a suspect in a hit-and-run accident in San Antonio on the city’s Northwest Side.
Details about the Hit-and-Run Accident
The San Antonio Express-News is reporting that, according to police, the driver of a Mercedes may be the one behind a hit-and-run crash that killed a pedestrian on Wednesday night on the city’s Northwest Side.
According to officers who responded to the scene of the accident, they were called out to the access road of Loop 1604 West near Red Robin Road at around 3:15 a.m. after receiving reports of a body lying in the street.
Once authorities arrived on the scene, they found the victim – a man between the ages of 40 and 60 – who appeared to have been hit by a car and dragged some distance down the road.
A short time after the crash, authorities were able to locate a suspect at a secondary location. According to police, the driver in question did not stop to render aid.
