A teenager was killed in a bicycle accident in San Antonio.
Details about the Bicycle Accident
KSAT 12 News in San Antonio is reporting that a 15-year-old boy crashed into a pickup truck while riding his bicycle on the east side of the city. The boy died as a result of his injuries, according to the Bexar County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Police have stated that the accident happened just before 6 p.m. on Wednesday in the 1200 block of North Hackberry, which is not far from North Mesquite Street and North Olive Street.
Police have further revealed that the teenager, Vincent Luna, was riding his bicycle when he rode through a stop sign and slammed into an oncoming pickup truck. The boy was transported to the San Antonio Military Medical Center where he later died. The driver of the truck did stop to render aid and will not face any charges.
