Teen Killed in Midland Pedestrian Accident

A 13-year-old male was killed Friday in a pedestrian accident near St. Ann’s School in Midland, Texas.

Details of the Fatal Pedestrian Accident

News West 9 reports the accident occurred in the 2100 block of Texas Avenue just before 8 am. Reports indicate the teenager was running across the street when he was struck by a Toyota Tundra.

Emergency responders were called to the scene, and the boy was transported to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He was declared dead shortly after arrival.

The boy was a student of San Jacinto JHS. Midland ISD provided counseling to students and staff affected by the crash.

Investigations into the accident are ongoing and no citations or charges have been issued at this time.
