The Lubbock Avalanche Journal is reporting that a Texas Tech student was killed in a motor vehicle accident that happened on Sunday in Cedar Park, which is near Austin.

The victim has been identified as 22-year-old Katherine Ann Myers, of Leander. Myers was involved in a single-vehicle rollover accident that happened on the 183A Toll Road in Cedar Park. Local police were called to the scene of the accident at about 3:58 a.m. According to Cedar Park police officials, Myers was driving a 2005 Honda and was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.

Local authorities are currently investigating the cause and circumstances that led to the fatal single vehicle rollover accident.
