Texas Woman Dies Due to Motorcycle Accident Injuries
A Texas woman died on Tuesday due to injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident.
Details about the Fatal Motorcycle Accident
The Beaumont Enterprise is reporting that a 27-year-old woman from Vidor died on Tuesday after succumbing to her injuries she sustained in a motorcycle accident that happened on Sunday, according to the Texas Department of Public Safety.
The Department of Public Safety also reports that the accident happened at about 6:25 p.m. on Sunday along Interstate 10 at the FM 105 exit ramp, which is in Orange County.
34-year-old Brannon Wooden, who was operating the motorcycle at the time of the accident, was being treated at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital as of Sunday evening. 27-year-old Kadie Odom, the passenger on the motorcycle, was taken to the same hospital and was pronounced dead there on Tuesday.
Wooden was driving the 2014 Harley Davidson motorcycle heading west on Interstate 10, when he took the exit ramp and then slammed on his brakes and lost control of the motorcycle. The motorcycle crashed into a concrete sidewall and then rolled over several times before coming to a stop.
