Details about the Fatal Accident

According to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, a BMW was traveling west on Duval Station Road, which is off North Main Street, when it was hit by a newer-model silver vehicle that left the scene of the accident.

According to the authorities, the BMW veered off the roadway, hit a tree, and then caught fire. All three people in the BMW were killed in the accident.

Tasha Schell, a family member of the at least one of the victims, pleaded that the person responsible for causing the accident should step forward and accept the consequences of their actions.

The victims’ vehicle was towed away from the scene of the accident at around 6 a.m. when the roadway was finally cleared. The remaining debris that was left behind was cleaned up by a couple living nearby.

Investigators from the traffic homicide unit said that the vehicle that caused the accident likely has damage in the front end of the driver’s side. Anyone with information about the accident is asked to contact the Jacksonville Sheriff Office.
