According to Salina Post, a Kansas toddler was killed in a pedestrian accident last week after being struck by a pickup near her daycare.
About the Fatal Pedestrian Accident
Harper Kay Rodden, a 14-month-old child, was struck on a residential road near her daycare. The child was rushed to an area hospital but died shortly after arrival.
While the driver did remain at the scene, authorities are seeking anyone with information on the accident.
The child was in attendance at the home daycare center when the incident happened. A review showed that daycare was licensed with no previous violations.
