Turtle Lake Man Killed in Motorcycle Accident
A man was killed in a motorcycle accident that happened in Turtle Lake, North Dakota.
Details about the Fatal Motorcycle Accident
WDAY News is reporting that a motorcycle accident in McLean County took the life of one person, according to information that has been released by the North Dakota Highway Patrol. The identity of the man has not yet been released.
The accident reportedly happened on North Dakota Highway 41 near mile marker 23 at about 4:50 p.m. on Thursday afternoon.
According to police, the man was heading north on Highway 41 on a Harley Davidson motorcycle when the motorcycle began to drift into the east ditch of the roadway while attempting to negotiate a turn. The motorcycle flipped, and the driver, who was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, was ejected from the vehicle.
The man was taken to the Turtle Lake Hospital where he later died.
